Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist (XBox 360)

The United States maintains a military presence in two-thirds of the world's countries. In response, a group of 12 terrorists, calling themselves The Engineers, have had enough of this global occupation and have initiated a deadly terror ultimatum known as the Blacklist - a countdown of escalating attacks on U.S. interests.

Tasked with stopping this devastating threat is Sam Fisher, the leader of the newly formed 4th Echelon unit - a clandestine team that answers solely to the President of the United States. Sam and his elite squad must hunt down these terrorists by any means necessary and halt the Blacklist countdown before it reaches zero.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, top-of-the-line gadgets, deadly combat abilities, and the freedom to operate without restrictions, Sam is more lethal and agile than ever. He utilizes ruthless interrogation methods to extract crucial information from enemies, all while pursuing the terrorists to the far reaches of the world, from exotic locales to U.S. cities, in a race against the clock.

The thrilling gameplay of Splinter Cell: Blacklist is enhanced by full motion performance capture, creating a highly cinematic experience. The game innovates from the roots of the franchise, offering a series of twists on classic weapons and gadgets, including the reinvented snake cam, micro-trirotor drone, sticky shocker, and Karambit knife.

Players can define their personal play styles and be rewarded for their choices, with options to embrace stealth, action, or a combination of both. The Killing in Motion feature allows Sam to strike with lethal precision, marking and executing multiple enemies in one fluid motion, while Active Sprint enables him to traverse the environment easily and fluidly.

The return of the fan-favorite Spies vs. Mercs mode offers a new take on asymmetrical gameplay, allowing players to face off in teams of four while customizing their Spy or Merc according to their playstyles. Co-op gameplay also makes a comeback, with 14 maps and four mission types, providing opportunities to earn in-game currency and unlock additional weapons and gadgets.

With a mandate directly from the President, Sam is building a whole new Echelon unit, his team, his way. Anna "Grim" Grimsdottir, Isaac Briggs, and Charlie Cole form his support crew, operating aboard the repurposed stealth airliner, the Paladin, which serves as a fully mobile ops unit with unlimited resources and cutting-edge technology.

The Strategic Mission Interface (SMI) allows Sam and his team to receive real-time data about mission objectives, while also providing a hub to earn money, upgrade weapons, and purchase items. Splinter Cell: Blacklist offers a fully integrated experience, blending the stealth roots of the franchise with new directions in action and adventure.
